Version 9.9 introduced Loop Zone, a feature that lets you repeatedly play back a specific section of your track while making real-time adjustments to your sound.
What is a Loop Zone?
Set a start point and end point in your track. Playback loops between them, and while playback is looping, you can change the mix level, reverb settings, compression settings, or switch effects. This lets you find exactly the sound you want.
Why It Matters
Previously, if you wanted to tweak a value like a wet-dry mix, you had to keep resetting the playhead to play back that section of your track. Looping eliminates this repetitive workflow.
How to Use Looping
- Open your track in the studio
- Set your loop start point
- Set your loop end point
- Adjust any effect or processing setting while the loop plays
When to Use Looping
Looping is particularly useful when you're fine-tuning vocal effects, comparing different settings, or perfecting the mix balance on a specific section. Instead of playing the same section over and over manually, you can focus on listening and adjusting until you get it right.
